Donna Corne

Donna Beth Corne, 74, of Mancelona, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 11, 2012. Donna was born February 25, 1938 in Rome, New York, the daughter of Clyde and Luella (Grems) Hartson. Donna was very active at the Church of the Nazarene in Mancelona where her husband pastors. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and loved to serve him with her husband. She loved to knit, sew and read and was a very crafty lady. She was well known in the community and will be greatly missed. On June 30, 1956, in Verona, NY, she married Ross Corne Sr., who survives. She is also survived by her children, Dawn (Mark) LaFraniere of Redford, MI., Tammi (Tony) Barbery of Austin, TX., Ross Corne Jr. of Lathonia, GA., and Shantel (Tom) Collier of Akron, MI; three siblings, Diane Enderle, Lynn Hartson and Linda Kern; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Dr. Wayne Brown. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow at the Alba Sportsman Club.
