Donald James Peterson 41, of Mio Michigan and formerly of Central Lake and Lapeer MI. died Friday July 17,2009 suddenly at home. Don was born May 29, 1968 in Goodrich Michigan to Douglas and Cassandra (Childers) Peterson. Don enjoyed laughing, joking, listening to music and watching the Detroit Red Wings. He also enjoyed fishing, But his Greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. Don is survived by daughter Nicole son DJ and their mother Connie.Sons Michael and Gavin and their mother Michelle. Also Courtney and Dakota Children of his Heart. Brother, Scott ( Amy) Peterson of Columbia, SC Sister, Marguerite (Cory) Tilley of Elk Rapids, MI. Step-brother Billy (Debbie) of Satellite Fla.One very special grandson Jayden Landis. One dearly loved Grandmother, Mary Jean Armstrong of Winter Haven, Fla. Many Nieces and Nephews including, William, Cassie,Ariella,Rylee, Connor, Chesley, Maxine, Austin and Maggie Mae. Don was preceded in death by his mother Cassandra Patterson and Step-Sister LeeAnn Chavez. He will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held Tuesday July 21,2009 at 1pm at the Pleasant Valley Free methodist Church Outside of Central Lake, Mi. With Reverand William Loy officiating. Family will receive friends from 12pm until the time of service. With a luncheon immediately following.
