Donald K. Miller

Donald K. Miller, 91 of Blue Lake Twp. Passed away February 15 at his home. Don was born April 25, 1933 in Mancelona, the son of Gurden and Bertha (Webster) Miller. 

Don was the beloved husband of Jenny (Watkins) Miller and they were married for 73 years. He was a devoted father of Vicki Windish, Valerie Chester, Linda Zografos, Laurie Earl, and Dawn Folisi. He was greatly cherished as the grandfather and great-grandfather of 27 and a dear uncle to many. Don was a brother to seven, Junie, Ruth, Phyllis, Karen, Bob, and Jim (all deceased) and Helen (Harry) Gorman. He will be missed by many, including as a special friend of over 75+ years to Ron (Jean) Davis.

Don was the former Vice-President of Panel Controls Corporation for over 30 years.

Don loved spending time with his family and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was an expert handyman, who enjoyed fixing and building, and used his talent to help anyone who needed him. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar and harmonica to the delight of his family and friends. 

He was an avid hunter of deer and partridge and driving through two tracks in the Jeep. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle with Jenny. Don was an excellent bowler on a bowling league for 15 years, winning many trophies. 

Graveside Services will be held in the spring at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona, further details will be posted as they are provided.
