Donald Kendall

Donald Lee Kendall, 66, of Mancelona, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home.  He was born on January 30, 1955 in Detroit, MI, the son of Robert and Edith (Reed) Kendall.

Donald lived in the Mancelona area for over 30 years.  He worked as a ski lift operator for many years at Shanty Creek Resorts.  He was an easy going and sociable person if you got the chance to talk to him.

Donald is survived by two children, Danny (Ashley) Kendall of Archbold, OH, and Ashley Bigger of Caro, MI; eight brothers, Bob Kendall of OH, Ron Kendall of Elk Rapids, Rick Kendall of Traverse City, Dave (Barb) Kendall of OH, John Kendall of Mancelona, Steve Kendall of Mancelona, Larry Kendall of Mancelona, and Richard (Denise) Kendall of Kalkaska; his sister, Susan Churchill of Detroit; three grandchildren, Aiden Phillips, Ezekiel Phillips, and Skye Marini; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Glen Kendall.

Donald’s family has chosen to remember him privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donald’s family.
