Donald James Early

Donald James Early 44 of Topinabee, and formerly of Gaylord, passed away February 17, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born May 20, 1978 in Gaylord the son of Dennis J. and Susan E. (Brown) Early.

   Don enjoyed the outdoors as a child, hanging out with his friends, and playing on his computer.  He was a loving son, devoted brother, and proud uncle who loved spending time with his family.

   Surviving are his mother Susan Early of Topinabee, sisters Sarah (Nate) Stearns of Indian River, Debbie (Michael) Murphy of Charlevoix, niece Sophia Jo Stearns, nephew and niece Jake and Margo Murphy, several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father Dennis in 2015.

   Don will be laid to rest this spring next to his father in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.  Memorial contributions can be given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
