Dominic R. Holly,  26, of Bellaire, passed away on September 4, 2017.

Dominic was born on February 27, 1991 in Ann Arbor, MI.

Dominic attended Bellaire High School where he played football starting at a young age.   He loved the outdoors, boating, snowmobiling, deer hunting and shooting guns.  He enjoyed weightlifting and body building and loved to study and learn history.

Best of all, Dominic was known to his family as “Sweetest soul you’ll ever meet”.  He was kind hearted, loved people, and was good with kids.

He is survived by his parents, David (Christine) Holly of Mancelona, Susan Rancour of Frederick, MI, a brother, David (Clara) Holly of Mancelona, a sister, Rachel Holly of Bellaire, step-sister Maddison Bates of Bellaire,  his paternal grandmother Patricia Holly of Bellaire, maternal grandmother Dixie Tennow of CA, 2 nephews, Talon and Quinton, a niece Lily and last but not least, his beloved dog “Scooter”.

He was preceded in death by both his grandfathers, Dan Tennow and Lyman Holly.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Pastor Dave Hiser will officiate.  Visitation will be on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Flewelling Cemetery, Kearney Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Antrim Community Church, P.O. Box 315, Bellaire, MI,  49615.

Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
