Dolores Frymire

Dolores E. Frymire 81, of Mancelona, passed away peacefully at Hope Village in Williamsburg on Dec. 20, 2009. Known to all of her friends as Dee, she was born Jan. 2, 1928 the daughter of Elzie and Edna (Crowe) Meadows. Dee was born and raised in Mancelona and was a long time beautician. Married for over 50 years her husband William C. Frymire preceded her in death in 1999. Dee is survived by her son Ken (Susan) Frymire of Traverse City, daughter Gena (Ken) Bjornson of Battle Creek, grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams, Kaila Bjornson, and Gunnar Bjornson. Also surviving are loving sisters Jean Nothstine and Helen Wilks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at One p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral homes, with Yousef "Yogi" Jabara officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until services on Wednesday. Graveside services with burial next to her husband and parents will take place in the spring at Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona Twp.
