Diane Mehlberg

Diane M. Mehlberg, 44, of Bellaire, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011. Diane was born on August 13, 1966 in Kalkaska, the daughter of Dorothy Istratoff and Carl Mehlberg. She is survived by her daughter, Marlee Shooks of Traverse City; parents, Dorothy Istratoff and Carl Mehlberg both of Mancelona; three sisters, Nancy (Frank) Hogarth of Buckley, Elena (Randy) Broomfield and Laura (Jason) Ackerman all of Mancelona; as well as Carl Jr., and Elaine. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her step father, Tony Istratoff and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Diane enjoyed bowling, playing cards, talking on the phone and watching her favorite show, Wheel of Fortune. She was a true sports fan. She resided in Bellaire for the past ten years and was a member of the Bellaire Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Home, Rev. Steven Eccles, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Contributions in memory of Diane M.
