Diana Truscott

DIANA L. TRUSCOTT, 70, of Central Lake, died on March 31, 2011 at Charlevoix Area Hospital. Diana was born on October 31, 1940 in Pontiac, the daughter of James and Lucille (Bellefeuille) McIntosh. Diana was a Central Lake resident since 1971 and had been employed by Second Chance Body Armor. She was known as a "nurturing" person who loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and watching wildlife of all kinds. On November 26, 1960, in Waterford, MI., she married George W. Truscott who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Gwen (Durward) McKay of Leesburg, Fla., Stephanie (Curtis) Johnson of Apopka, Fla., Bill Truscott of Central Lake and 3 grandchildren, Annie, Cody and Idella. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Lucille McIntosh. There will be an informal gathering on Saturday, April 2 from noon-4:00 p.m. at the Truscott residence, 258 N. M-88 Highway, Central Lake. Interment will be at a later date in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
