Dennis Morgridge

Dennis Morgridge of Highland and formerly of Charlevoix, died Sunday, January 5, 2020.

He was born June 20, 1963 in Lansing, MI, son of Robert and Mary Ellen (Stump) Morgridge. Dennis graduated from Charlevoix High School with the Class of 1981. He attended Michigan State University receiving a Bachelor in Advertising. Dennis met Robin while they attended Michigan State University. They married on February 23, 1991 and were married 28 years. Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, kayaking, biking, hiking and being outdoors. Dennis was a loyal Spartan fan and often attended basketball and football games with Robin and Ben.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Robin; three children, Emily, Shelby (fiance Matt) and Ben; his parents; three brothers, David (Carrie), Jeff (Lenore), and Jim; nieces and nephews, Emmet, Quincy, Robby, Alex, Douglas, Morgan, Ann, Grace, Abby, Sophie and Cassidy.

The family will receive visitors from 6 - 8 PM Friday, January 10, 2019 at Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, 209 State Street, Charlevoix, MI 49720 and at First Congregational Church from 10 AM until the time of the service Saturday.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM Saturday, January 11, 2019 at First Congregational Church, 101 State Street, Charlevoix, MI 49720 with Keith Bales officiating.
