Delores Jensen

DELORES H. JENSEN 78, of Central Lake, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey. Dee was born on March 30, 1929 in Detroit, the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Beaufeit) Foster. Dee resided in Central Lake for the past 15 years. She was a loving, caring, big hearted person, who enjoyed cooking for many residents of Central Lake, as well as crocheting, arts and crafts and garage sales. On October 15, 1960 in Madison Heights, she married Gene L. Jensen who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Deanna (Gene) Doot of Berkley, Grant (Rhonda) Bourgeois of Southfield, Kim (Jerry) Williams of Grass Lake, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter Dawn Marie Bourgeois, a sister Beverly Brisch and her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will also take place on Monday, March 17 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a service at 12:30 at the Oak Chapel of Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan.
