Del Edwards

Del D. Edwards, 59, of Central Lake died Friday, June 30, 2017 at his home.

He was born April 1, 1958 in Alpena to Donald L. and Donna B. (Linseman) Edwards.

On June 23, 1979 he married Debra Shannon in Lewiston. They lived in Lewiston and the Lubbock, Texas area before moving to Central Lake.

Del worked as a chef at Bourbons72, Shanty Creek, Schuss Mountain, Rosebud Cafe, Cadillac Country Club, Mrs. Pete's, and other various places in Texas. He enjoyed creating new recipes, gardening, deer hunting, fishing, and carving ice and snow sculptures.

Surviving are his wife Debra; daughters Shannon Edwards of Grand Rapids and Michelle Edwards of Washington D.C.; his mother Donna B. Edwards of Hillman; and brothers Don D. (Bonnie) Edwards of Atlanta and David L. Edwards of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his father Donald L. Edwards who died in an accident before his birth.
