Debra Ann Lundy

Debra A. “Debbie” Lundy, 65, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on May 24th, 2023.   She was born on January 4, 1958, the daughter of James and Katherine (Cempura) Bradfield.

   Family was everything to her, especially spending time with her sons and grandchildren. Whenever the family came together to celebrate, she was always front and center helping out. A lover of life’s simple pleasures, Debbie was especially fond of being around a campfire surrounded by loved ones. Relaxing at night with a movie and fresh bowl of homemade popcorn was another joy of hers. She loved the holidays- especially Easter and Christmas- when you could find her in the kitchen whipping up her signature treats. To anyone who knew her Debbie was a symbol of pure, unfiltered love. 

   Debbie was a devout Catholic who delighted in her faith.

   Surviving are sons Sta’s (Shelly) Rozanski, Casey Lundy, and Corey Lundy all of Traverse City, six grandchildren, Finley, Kasia, Cordelia, Lennon, Ephraim and Marella. 

   Also surviving is her previous husband Gregg Lundy, three brothers Michael (Mary) Bradfield of Kewadin, James (Lisa) Bradfield of Traverse City, Dugan (Kim) Bradfield of Old Mission Peninsula, three sisters, Colleen (Don) Fudge of Durham, CT, Suzanne (Dean) Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, Kathy (Casey) Penfold of Central Lake as well as many nieces and nephews.

   Debbie and her mother Kathy Bradfield are now reunited as Kathy passed away a couple days after Debbie on May 28^th, 2023.

   Preceding her in death were her father James Bradfield, maternal grandparents Stanley and Mazie Cempura, and paternal grandmother Ellen Kennedy Bradfield.

   A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 5^th at 11 a.m. at Christ the King in Acme with Fr. Christopher Jarvis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  The family will also receive friends on Sunday, June 4^th from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. all at the church.
