Debra DePeel

DEBRA J. DEPEEL 54, of Mancelona, died on December 23, 2008 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.

Debbie was born on October 16, 1954 in Mancelona, the daughter of Herbert Sr. and Mildred (Sherman) Ray.

Debbie resided in Mancelona most of her life and was employed by Glens Market for 25 years.

She enjoyed sewing, crafts, planting flowers and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

On November 2, 1974 in Mancelona she married Bennie Depeel who survives. Also surviving are three children, Amie (Dave) Wolfe of Croswell, MI., Ben Depeel Jr., of Mancelona, Tony Depeel of Mancelona, three grandchildren, Katie, David and Zoey, a brother Herbert Ray Jr., of Kalkaska, two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Hart of Mancelona, Valerie (Bill) Avery of Mancelona and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herb Sr. and Mildred Ray.

Funeral services were held on Sat., Dec. 27 at the Antrim Church of Christ in Mancelona.

Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
