David Taylor

David Edward Taylor, Jr., resident of Boston Massachusetts (formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio), died in a motor vehicle accident on July 26, 2016 while vacationing with family in northern Michigan. He was born April 26, 1961 in Cincinnati. David was a graduate of McCallie in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1979, and then attended Stetson University and the University of Cincinnati, from which he graduated with a degree in accounting in 1983. Together with his brother Christopher Taylor, they built up Crescent Park Corporation, a successful supply chain services firm, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. David was a co-owner and served as executive vice president, overseeing the real estate and investment strategy for the firm. David's real passions were his devotion to his wife, Amy Walanski, aviation and literature. He was an avid pilot, who relished the freedom and beauty of flying. He also adored literature and the many adventures of the mind that a good novel can provide. In 2014, he and Amy relocated to Boston, where David developed a new passion for that maritime city. David is survived by his wife, Amy, his parents David Taylor Sr and Deborah Hogan, step-parents Maureen Taylor and James Hogan; his brothers Stephan and Christopher; step-siblings Jay, Cynthia, Sean and Paul Hogan, as well as nieces and nephews Matthew, Rachel, Alec, Sarah and Katherine Taylor; and his cat, Miju. Memorial services will be held at the Hyde Park Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Cincinnati on August 13, 2016 at 11:00 am. Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the services at 10:00. Donations in David's name may be made to your local Humane Society/animal shelter or the Hyde Park Bethlehem United Methodist Church (Organ Repair Fund), 3799 Hyde Park Ave, Cinti., OH 45209.
