David Sandeen

DAVID L. SANDEEN, 58, of Mancelona, died on Sat., April 16, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. Dave was born on December 12, 1952 in Bellaire, the son of Robert and Lucile (Shisler) Sandeen. Dave was a lifelong resident of Mancelona, graduating from Mancelona High School in 1971, then went on to work for Dura Automotive for many years and was recently transferred to Dura in Stockton, IL. He enjoyed baseball and coaching Little League, he also enjoyed golfing as well as many sports , owned and operated the Lazy S Hills Ranch Farm in Mancelona. On September 9, 2004 in Paradise, MI., he married Robin A. Constantine who survives. In addition to his wife Robin he is survived by his dog Dahli Lama,a daughter Treasure (David) Perry , 3 grandchildren, Haylee, Curtis and Trinity Perry all of Morley, his mother Lucile Sandeen of Mancelona, two brothers, Clark (Loretta) Sandeen of Fife Lake, Earl Sandeen of Kentwood, three sisters, Ellen (Robert) Peterson of Kentwood, Doris Felton of Alden, Barb (Bud) Castle of Bellaire, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sandeen. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Helena Township Cemetery, Alden. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
