David Pruitt Jr.

David Charles Pruitt Jr., 61, of Central Lake, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020.  He was born on January 2, 1959 in Gaylord, MI the son of David Sr. and Linda (Barnes) Pruitt.

David was a go-getter.  He woke up every day and was chomping at the bit to get out of the house and drive the country roads, or go visit family.  He enjoyed fishing, and going to the casino to play slots and blackjack.  He was truly a people person, and he will be dearly missed.

David is survived by his loving girlfriend of 12 years, Debbie Comstock; his children, Jamie Charles Pruitt of Jackson, MI, Nancy Brown of Texas, Richard Brown of Lansing, and Joann Brown of Ecorse, MI; two brothers, Gary Pruitt of Bellaire, and Michael (Jamie) Pruitt of Escanaba; his sister, Melissa (Henry) Tracey of Kalkaska; eight grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Leroy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Sr. and Linda Pruitt; his sister, Sherry Pruitt; and his nephew, Cary Joe Fisher.

No services are planned at this time.
