David Moore

David C. Moore, 57, of Bellaire, passed away on May 25, 2015 at his home. David was born on October 5, 1957, in Pontiac, MI, the son of Karl and Betty (Perry) Moore. David resided in Antrim County most of his life. He enjoyed traveling to see his family, fishing and junking. He was a member of the Alba Fire Department for many years as well as the Torch Lake Grange. On February 3, 2009, in Mancelona, he married Sally (Thrasher) Skaggs who survives. Also surviving are 3 brothers, Bill (Jan) Moore of Central Lake, Jack (Mary) Moore of Central Lake, Dennis (Sue) Moore of Alden, 6 step-children, Dennis Jr. (Debbie) Hittle of Alden, Tyrone (Florence) Phillips of Rapid City, Melissa Klintworth of N.C., Eli (Nicole) Hittle of Kalkaska, Duane (Marie) Hittle of Mancelona, Harold (Donna) Hittle of Bellaire as well as many step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Karl and Betty Moore. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services also at the funeral home. Pastor Ross Corne will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
