David Graham

David C. Graham, 76, of East Jordan died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his home.

He was born May 24, 1937 in Detroit to Archie and Madoline (Renwick) Graham.

On July 20, 1957 he married Evelyn Crawford in East Jordan where they made their home.

David was a dairy farmer for 25 years and also drove school bus for East Jordan for 15 of those years. He was employed at Burnett Foods in East Jordan and later as a carpenter with Petrie Construction.

David enjoyed baseball, hunting, fishing, collecting guns and restoring old tractors as well as spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife Evelyn; children Cindy (Gary) White of Hastings, Denny (Denise) Graham, Andy (Vicki) Graham, Colleen (David) Lewin and Renwick (Nicole) Graham, all of East Jordan; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Belvia Tornga of Central Lake, Carrie Graham of Bellaire, Leona Graham of East Jordan, and mother-in-law Irene Dougherty of East Jordan; multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded by brothers Archie Graham, Angus Graham, Cameron Graham and James Graham.

Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 26.

A memorial service will be held Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lighthouse Missionary Church in East Jordan with the Rev. Jim Jordan officiating.

Burial will be in Morehouse Cemetery in Echo Township.
