Danny Joe Mobbs Jr.

Danny Joe Mobbs Jr. of Kalkaska, MI, Passed away on October 1, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1970, in Pontiac, MI, the son of Jo (Steve) Marks and Danny (Ann) Mobbs Sr. 

Dan took pride in fixing things and helping others. He enjoyed playing with the kids, grilling outside, playing on motorized things - like go karts and dirt bikes – playing loud music with speakers and Bluetooth. He was always on the go doing things and helping others. He was the kind of guy you could always count on and at the end of the night there was always a bonfire. 

Dan is survived by his life partner Christine Finch, Mother Jo (Steve) Marks, Son Scott (Katherine), Daughter Shelby (Ryan), Son Zack (Kaylee), brother Nicholas (Shonda), Grandpa David Finch, Grandkids Isabella, Savannah, Bentley, Olivia, Aryanna, Rylin, Matthew, and his Baby Girl - Saveria. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, best friends, and many caring friends. 

Preceded in death by his father Danny Mobbs Sr, son Corey Lauwers, sister Rachel Mobbs, Mother in-law Linda Schaffer, and Grandma Clara Finch.

Memorial Services will take place on Saturday, November 2nd at 1:00 pm at the Antrim Church of Christ in Mancelona, MI.
