Daniel Parker

Daniel Curtis Parker, age 55 of Charlevoix passed away on July 23, 2017.

Daniel was born on August 11, 1961 in Riverside New Jersey the son of Robert and Gail (Curtis) Parker. He served in the U.S.  Navy for 4 years. Danny's love of people, music, animals plus his sense of humor made him a magnet to people around him.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Gail Parker of Charlevoix, sisters, Rebecca Parker of Charlevoix, Christina (Donald) Bannes of St. Louis, MO, daughter, Shannon Jones of St. Louis, MO, grandchildren, Benjamin and Ava, nephew, Parker Bannes, nieces, Cassidy Bannes and Hero Parker-Drost and her father, Dan Drost and many friends at the Alano Club.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Parker, brother Rusty Parker, cousin, Suzanne Curtis, Uncle, Tracy Curtis, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Community Reformed Church of Charlevoix with Pastors Chip Sauer and Ginger Stevens officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alano Club of Charlevoix, 106 Mason Street, Charlevoix, MI 49770 or the Charlevoix Area Humane Society, 614 Beardsley St, Boyne City, MI 49712.
