Daniel E. Bolle, 72, of Bellaire and Haslett, passed away on February 2, 2018 in Haslett.
Dan was born on December 29, 1945 in Gladwin to the late Cyriel and Helen (Kiss) Bolle and grew up in Clare. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 269 in Haslett. Dan graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree. He moved to Bellaire in 1973 and was the Antrim County Equalization Director for many years.
Dan enjoyed spending his time golfing, traveling, boating on Intermediate Lake and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
On October 12, 2002 at the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church in Bellaire, Dan married Patty Armstrong who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Michelle (Matt) Perkins of Central Lake, stepchildren, Jason Armstrong of East Lansing, Joseph (Lisa) Armstrong of Bath, brothers, Lou Bolle of Colorado, Tim (Stefani) Bolle of California, special Aunt Lucille, grandchildren, Alex, Matilda, and Tess Perkins, Madison, Luke and Caulton Armstrong, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle Louis.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Erik Falker officiating. The family will receive guests for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorial contributions in Dan’s name may be directed to Bellaire Community United Methodist Church or Meadowbrook Medical Care Facility.
