Daniel Charles Avery
Dan Avery passed away on September 18, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 3, 1949 in Brown City, MI. His parents were De and Aldine Avery, deceased and he has 1 sibling, Gwen Avery Alley from Tulsa, OK.
He grew up in Imlay City, MI and worked for his Dad and Grandfather at their car dealership, Schoenhals Motor Sales. He earned a Master Mechanic degree.
His grandparents, Charlie and Emma Avery moved to Clam River in the 70's and Dan and his family spent wonderful vacations here in northern Michigan. He later moved here by Lake of the Woods and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends. He worked in the area in an auto parts store for several years before retiring.
Dan was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish on all the area lakes. He loved spending time with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
