Dakotah Konetzka

KONETZKA, DAKOTAH and AUSTIN, ages 12 and 11 respectively, from Dutton, Michigan are resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father after being involved in a fatal auto accident on Good Friday on their way to Mancelona, MI. Both brothers were born in Grand Rapids, Dakotah was born on March 18, 1995 and Austin was born on February 11, 1996. The two boys attended Cross Creek Charter Academy where Dakotah was a sixth grader and Austin was a fifth grader. They both enjoyed tag football, dirt bikes, fishing, camping, Yugioh, and playing games with their best friends on the internet. They are survived by their mother, Niki Konetzka; father Robert Woldhuis; maternal grandparents, Michael and Darleen Konetzka; paternal grandparents, Robert and Ilene Woldhuis; four brothers, Samuel, Tyler, Christian, and Nikolas Konetzka; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. They were preceded in death by a sister, Gianna, and a brother, Angelo Konetzka. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2342 Valley Rd., in Mancelona, MI 49659 on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Custer Township. Family Hour will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Seymour Christian Reformed Church, 840 Alger St. S.E., Grand Rapids, on Saturday, April 14, 2007. At Noon a Memorial Service will be held at the church. Contributions will be used to set up a Memorial at Cross Creek Charter Academy in memory of these two wonderful boys who will be truly missed by all.
