D. Boros

D. CAROL BOROS 88, of Bellaire, died on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire. Carol was born on May 6, 1918 in Forest Home Twp., Michigan the daughter of Roy and Nellie (Pendock) Dunson. She was a resident of Bellaire most of her life and was an active member of the community where she was a 4-H leader, worked with the Bellaire Area Historical Society as well as the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church, worked for Shanty Creek for several years and enjoyed weaving rag rugs, spending time at the Bellaire Museum and playing the piano. On June 12, 1935 in Forest Home Twp., she married John Boros who preceded her in death in 1953. Also preceding her in death were a daughter Patricia Kakligian in 1966, a brother, three sisters and her parents. Surviving are two children, William (Mary) Boros of Petoskey, Beth (Bill) Boyd of Bellaire, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will take place on Wed., Feb. 28, 2007 at One p.m. at the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church. Pastor Mary Brown will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church or to the Bellaire Area Historical Society.
