Cynthia Yamuni

Cindy Marie (Carson) Yamuni, 54, passed away January 10, 2017 after battling cancer for two and a half years. Cindy is survived by Marco Yamuni, her husband, Andrea, Megan, Hannah, and Erin Yamuni, her children, Chris and Joan Carson, her parents, and Brian (Mable,) Gary (Margi,) Karen, and Ken (Lydia,) Carson, her younger siblings, many nieces and nephews and two grandchildren. Born on September 28, 1962 Cindy was blessed with a heart and mind ready to change the world. She attended Western Michigan University to obtain a degree in social work. Then, she devoted her life to caring for others with great dedication that touched the lives of many. She worked at the Women’s Resource Center, and later, the local Head Start program to share her passion for life with others. Her visitation will be held at Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix on Friday, January 20th from 5-8pm. The following day, January 21st, a mass will be held in her name at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11am with a luncheon following the ceremony.
