Curtis Ferber

Curtis George Ferber, 64, of Charlevoix, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019.  He was born on January 12, 1955 in Aberdeen, Maryland, the son of George and Marilyn (Wright) Ferber.

On October 2, 1976, Curtis married his high school sweetheart, Karen Arnold.  He valued his family above all else.  Whether it was helping his daughters with projects, or watching his granddaughters play soccer, they were the center of his life.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and he always had a list of home improvement projects going on.  He was also an active member of the Alcoholics Anonymous in Charlevoix for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Ferber; his mother, Marilyn Ferber; two daughters, Jessica (Ben) Ferber-Babb of Charlevoix, and Heather (Todd) Bernhardt of Boyne City; a brother, Craig (Diane) Ferber of Royal Oak, MI; two sisters, Melinda (Julie) Kendall of San Francisco, CA, and Laura (Alan) Gohl of Clarkston, MI; and two granddaughters, Zoey and Sydney Bernhardt.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Ferber.
