Connie Saganek

Connie S. (Marr) Saganek, 48, of Alba, formerly of East Jordan, passed away February 11, 2013 at her home with her husband by her side. Connie was born June 3, 1964 in Lansing. She enjoyed canoeing, camping, the outdoors and listening to music. Most of all, her pride and joy was her family. In 2006, Connie married the love of her life, Rick who survives. Also surviving are three children, Steven (Lisa) Marr, Dustin Wade Marr and Fiance Amy Mathers, Shane Saganek and Fiance Shada Hyde; one brother, David (Melissa) Marr; four sisters, Mary Marr, Garnet (Rich) Grody, Denise Stockford and Sally Marr; nine grandchildren, Nathan, Logan, Garbiel, Kayden, Hunter, Steven Jr., Brandon, McKayla and Haley; many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Marr and her step-son, Chuck Taylor. A Memorial Service will be at 12 Noon Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon also at the funeral home.
