Clearina Behrens

Clearina M. Behrens,  99, of Charlevoix, passed away on August 22, 2021 at her home.

Clearina was born on March 23, 1922, in Manistique, MI, the daughter of Delphis Jr. and Gladys (Briggs) Pelletier.

She was an animal lover and volunteered at numerous Humane Society's through the years.   She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Charlevoix and enjoyed spending time and talking about Beaver Island where she was raised as a child.

Surviving are 3 children, Mary (James) Danhour of Parker, CO, Gary (Weletta) Behrens of Naples, FL, Sandra (Bernie III "Sonny") Ward of Charlevoix, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Paul Behrens and her parents.

No services are planned at this time.   The family will remember her privately at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
