Clarence (Rantz) Peters made his transition onto another dance floor on June 19, 2018.
On December 2, 1938 he was born to Elizabeth (Smith) Peters and Dan Peters, in Charlevoix, MI. Charlevoix remained his home through graduation from high school in 1956. Following graduation he married his first wife, Lynn Ernst of Petoskey and they ventured to Florida where he became a manager for Publix Stores for several years. With two children in tow, Craig and Kamie Peters, he and his wife moved back to Petoskey where he managed the Big Boy restaurant for a few years. Life then took him to the Saginaw area where he remained and was in sales for several years. Rantz started family number two in Saginaw when he married Jo Saldana. With her, he had a son, RJ who now resides in Belding. Rantz lived life! Dancing was a very favorite pastime, and in the last few years he entertained people with his favorite Karaoke songs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Craig, and his sister, Elaine Smith. He is survived by his son, RJ of Belding, his daughter Kamie Fulton of Daytona Beach, FL, his former wife, Jo Peters, of Saginaw and his sister, Evelyn Wujcik of Charlevoix, special friends, Deb Buckner and Toni Nagi, several grand children and great grand children, nieces and nephews.
