Christopher Georgi

Christopher W. Georgi, 68, of Charlevoix, MI, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2019, at his home.

Chris was born on June 24, 1951 to Richard Georgi and Shirley Fischer, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

The family moved around a lot, and Chris eventually moved to Charlevoix, MI from Brussels, Belgium in 1973.

On moving to Charlevoix, he originally worked for the Charlevoix Title Company and then later in oil and gas, property management, and environmental consulting.  Over the years Chris has enjoyed his boats (the dry rot series), fishing, golfing, cars, motorcycles, but most recently spending time at home with his family and pets.

Surviving Chris are his wife Ann Marie, his children Cori (Tim Edwards) Georgi of Salisbury, England, and Haley Georgi of Charlevoix, Michigan.  Also surviving him are his brother John (Christina) Georgi, of San Diego, California, and his sister Evan Georgi, of Chicago, Illinois.  As well as his beloved dogs Crush and Echo.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Richard Georgi Jr.
