Charlotte Vallance

Charlotte Marie Vallance, 80, of East Jordan died Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Grandvue Medical Care Facility.

She was born June 16, 1937 in Adrian to Benjamin and Mildred (Holloway) Richards.

On December 27, 1958 she married Guy D. Vallance in Charlevoix. They made their home in East Jordan where Charlotte owned and operated Sheer Joy Salon and worked with Guy at Vallance TV. Charlotte enjoyed quilting.

Surviving are her husband Guy; children Derrick Vallance of Houston, Texas and Dorinda (Jeff) Piechocki of East Jordan; four grandchildren, Alyssa Piechocki, Alec Piechocki, Nick Vallance and Sam Vallance; sisters and brothers Shirley (Leighton) Shefield of Jackson, Mary (Moody) Schoonover of Adrian, William Richards of Adrian, Thomas Richards of Adrian; and sister-in-law Nancy Richards of East Jordan. She was preceded in death by her brother Clifford Benjamin Richards.

No services are planned at this time. Burial will be in Ellsworth Cemetery.
