Charlotte B. Kler, 72, of Mancelona, passed away on January 22, 2015 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care. Charlotte was born on December 16, 1942, in Dundee, MI, the daughter of Paul and Eileen (Salo) Windish. Charlotte was a lifelong resident of Mancelona where she was an active member of the Mancelona Free Methodist Church as well as a volunteer EMT for the Mancelona Ambulance for 19 years. She enjoyed making wedding cakes, flower gardening and most of all loving and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Richard Kler of Mancelona, 4 children, Richard Kler, Mark (Susan) Kler, Diane Ellis, Nick (Amy) Kler all of Mancelona, her second mom Geraldine Windish of Bellaire, 9 siblings, Richard Windish, Gail Light, Ronald Windish, Gloria Allen-Windish, Randy Windish, Roger Windish, Rocky Windish, Rory Windish and Ryan Windish. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Paulette Windish Pendergrass and Donna Windish and 3 brothers, Ricky, Rodney, and Dennis Windish. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at the church. Rev. Gerald Cook will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mancelona Free Methodist Church.
