Charles "Chuck" Munchbach Jr.

Charles (Chuck) Adelard Munchbach Jr., 74, of Rapid River, lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, December 4, 2021, with his family by his side.

He was born May 18, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan to Charles and Patricia Brigmon Munchbach Sr.

Chuck spent his free time enjoying the outdoors, hunting deer and squirrels, fishing for bluegill and catfish and spending time on his boat.  He also enjoyed grilling out and cooking for his family. He especially loved frying the fish he caught anyone who would eat it.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet; children, Charles (Louise) Munchbach of Alden, MI, Arthur Munchbach of Rapid River, Kristie (Jorge) Espinal of Indianapolis,IN, and April Munchbach of Traverse City; grandchildren, Crystal, Amber, Derek (Courtney), Cami (Lee), Korey, Logan, Makenzie, and Serenti; great-grandchildren, Silas, Navy, Oaklyn, Jade, and Evelyn, and his beloved pets Freddie, and Mocha.
