Charles Marsh

Charles Wayne Marsh, 64, of Alba, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019.  He was born on May 30, 1955 in Brooklyn, MI, the son of Robert and Leona (Stump) Marsh.

Following high school, Charles served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam war.  He was also a volunteer firefighter for Star Township for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but he loved spending time with his grandson, Ethan, more than anything.

Charles is survived by his two children, Zara (Katie) Milligan of East Jordan, and Zack Milligan of Alba; his three brothers, Fred (Donna) Marsh of Canadian Lakes, MI, Jim ( Sarah) Marsh of Alba, and Bob(Jeannie) Marsh of Alba; his two sisters, Lois (Bob) Curtis of Mancelona, and Teena (Don) Blasko of McHenry, MS; and his grandson, Ethan Milligan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Leona Marsh; and his niece, Tanya Colton.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27 at the Alba United Methodist Church,  5991 Alba Rd, Alba, MI 49611.
