Charles T. Jadwin, 63, of Charlevoix, passed away May 20, 2019, at home.
Charles was born September 25, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Donald A. and Joan C. (Heise) Jadwin. He was raised in Flint until relocating to Charlevoix in 1997.
He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration. Charles was past owner and president of Systems Development Associates in Flint. He was a part of the decommissioning of the Big Rock Nuclear Plant in Charlevoix.
Charles was known to be social and outgoing, with a great sense of humor. He dearly loved his children, wife and family, and was especially close with his brother Steve. He enjoyed reading, hiking and walking, biking, and being outdoors. Being very fond of the water and nature, he cherished his home on Lake Michigan.
He was proceeded in death by his parents. Surviving Charles are his wife Nona Lee Jadwin, three children, Daniel (Jennifer) Jadwin of Anaheim, California, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Souza of San Francisco, California, and Rebecca Jadwin of Thompsonville, Michigan, one grandchild Weston Jadwin, son of Daniel and Jennifer, one brother Steven A. (Pamela) Jadwin of Swartz Creek, Michigan, a step-sister Peg (Ed) Dubuc of Fenton, Michigan, and step-mother Dona Jadwin of Goodrich, Michigan.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place Tuesday, July 2, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Depot Beach Pavillion, 307 Chicago Ave., Charlevoix, Michigan 49720.
A private Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery.
