Charles Forman

Charles "Chuck" Forman, age 81, of Rapid City, passed away on January 13, 2016 at his home. Chuck was born on January 21, 1934 in Dearborn, son of the late Lyle and Julia (Kunce) Forman.

Chuck was a commercial artist until his retirement to Northern Michigan. This area inspired him to continue painting with watercolors. Not only would he paint but he was also taught watercolor painting to many in the area. He was an avid fisherman and greatly enjoyed his many fishing trips to Canada.

Chuck is survived by his children, Lana (Verne) Rowe of Rapid City and Greg (Jill) Forman of Dallas, TX, grandchildren, Adrian (James) Chisholm of Houston, TX, Kyle Rowe of San Francisco, CA, Justin (Sharee) Forman of Dallas, TX, Tyler (Jill) Forman of San Francisco, CA, Courtney (Micah) Hedges Dallas, TX, Abbie (Brent) Voorhees of Dallas, TX, great grandchildren, Tristan Forman, Kate Forman, Audrey Forman, Beckett Charles Hedges and Braxton Steel Voorhees.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Forman, son, Kirk Forman, and his parents.

A gathering will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m.
