Chad Field

Chad Allen Field, 34, of Alden, Michigan passed away on July 30th, 2013. Chad was born on September 26th, 1978, in Howell, MI., the son of John and Sue (Olson) Field. Chad grew up in Alden and attended Mancelona Schools. Chad was a Concrete Finisher by trade and enjoyed showing his creative side through decorative concrete work. His interests included listening to music, attending concerts, snowboarding and most importantly spending time with his family. He treasured the time he spent with his daughter Alayna Marie Kopec as well as his niece Madison and nephew Jayden. He is survived by his wife Barbara Field of New Jersey, mother Sue (Dave) Fales of Alden, his father John Field of Carson City, MI., his daughter Alayna Marie Kopec of Livonia, his brother Brad (Charlotte) Field of Houston, TX, his sister Alicia Field of Mancelona, his maternal grandparents Bonnie (Gabe) Martini of Rapid City and niece Madison and nephew Jayden. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Kay and his maternal grandfather Frank Olson. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, August 4th at 3:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Luanne Reed will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will take place in Coldsprings Township Cemetery, Mancelona.
