Cathy Kerr

Catherine L. Kerr, 64, of Mancelona, passed away October 10, 2013 at Kalkaska Long Term Center. Cathy was born August 24, 1949 in Hazelhurst, Georgia, the daughter of John and Pauline White. Cathy graduated from Mancelona High School in 1967 and resided in Mancelona ever since. Cathy was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo, trivia shows, and going to the casino with Lyle. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, Lyle Kerr; two children, Chuck (Christa) Kerr of Ada and Angie (John) Cantrell of Mancelona; two grandchildren, Hunter and Sydney Kerr; three siblings, Gene (Peggy) White, Pat Abston and Jeannie McConnell. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be Monday, October 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona United Methodist Church with Pastor Todd Shafer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
