Cathleen Reynolds

Cathleen Lynn Reynolds, 49, of Mancelona, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Munson Medical Center. She was born January 24, 1960, in Detroit, the daughter of Clarence and Virginia (Maloney) Cook Jr. Cathy loved her job as a Certified Nurse's Aide at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire for the last 18 years. She enjoyed bowling with Team Meadow Brook, collecting hummingbird memorabilia, swimming, and boating. Her greatest love was her family. On April 24, 1993 in Las Vegas, she married Kent Reynolds who survives. Also surviving are three children Craig (Nicole) Merry of Waterford, Adam Reynolds of Waterford, Renee Reynolds of Kalkaska, four grandchildren, Ian and Andrew Merry, Jasmine Maxwell, Lilly Daugherty, five siblings Robert Cook of Brooksville, FL, Sandra (Richard) Angelillo of Brooksville, FL, Christine (Matthew) Nowakowski of New Orleans, LA, Patricia (John) Vekoff of Troy, Cynthia (Pat) Szczesny of Redford, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, 2009, at Eleven a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Andrew Pomerville officiating. Interment will follow at Chapman Cemetery, Custer Twp. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 31, from 3 to 7 p.m. also at the funeral home.
