Catherine Person

Catherine D. Person, 97, of Eastport, formerly of Dearborn, passed away on March 15, 2014 at the Eastport Village Care Home. Catherine was born on October 8, 1916, in Albion, NE, the daughter of John and Eunice (Fusselman) Engelbert.

Catherine loved making doll clothes, cooking and playing bingo and cards. She had been a resident of the area since 2001.

She is survived by 2 children, Ronald (Barbara) Person of Central Lake, Kathleen (Sam) Barlaam of CA, a sister Elizabeth (Dale) Bowman of NE, 3 grandchildren, Jeanette Person of Canton, MI, Ronald Person of Romulus, MI, Kristen (Patrick) Mann of Canton, MI, and 2 great-grandchildren, Tabitha and Alyson Mann both of Canton, MI.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Richard Simons, Galen Person, her husband Winton Person, 8 siblings and her parents.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
