Catherine graduated in 1976 from Clawson High School and not long after made her way to northern Michigan where she created a life she loved.
Catherine had a heart of gold, a magical green thumb, a deep connection with animals and never wavered in her faith in God. As his humble servant Catherine volunteered her time and at the time of her passing was managing the Good Samaritan always giving back to her community . One might describe her as quirky in nature, feisty when she needed to be and maybe a bit salty sometimes but she will always be remembered for her hard work ethic and unconditional love for all things of this universe living or spirit. Her happy place was on the water with her friends or perfecting her garden and improving her healthy eating habits. The world could do with more people like Catherine, may she rest peacefully in heaven.
Catherine has requested there not be a service therefore a Gathering will take place at the time of her burial, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2:30 pm in the Southern Cemetery, N M 88, Central Lake, MI 49622 with a luncheon to follow at the Pleasant Valley Free Methodist church 3055 W Old State Rd, East Jordan, MI 49727.
