Catherine Everett

Catherine A. Everett, 70, of East Jordan died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at home.

She was born May 31, 1946 in Charlevoix to Walter and Delores (Sheridan) Goebel.

On August 9, 1969 she married Dale Everett in East Jordan. They lived in East Jordan where she worked at Burnett Foods. She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Dale; children Trina Ide of Petoskey, Barb (Cory) Schroeder of East Jordan, Robert (Heather) Everett of Whitehall, Jamie (Jay) Moblo of East Jordan; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her father Walter Goebel of East Jordan; siblings Robert (Barb) Goebel of Bay Harbor, Timothy (Peggy) Goebel of Williamsburg, Patricia (Roger) Sutton of Apache Junction, AZ.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Jordan with the Rev. Kenneth Lein officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
