Cassandra Patterson

Cassandra Lee Patterson, 57 of Central Lake, died, Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 16, 1950 the daughter of Russell and Marguerite (Deaton) Childers in Pontiac, Michigan. Cassandra enjoyed quilting, horses and reading. She is survived by three children; Donald (Michelle) Peterson of Luzerne, Scott (Amy) Peterson of Imlay City, Marguerite (Cory) Tilley of Elk Rapids, 2 step-sons William Patterson of Satellite, FL, and Ari Chavez of Deerfield Beach, FL, 3 brothers Dan (Sandra) Childers of Amasa, Dick (Sharon) Childers of Fairview, Rod (Cindy) Childers of Ortonville, one sister Glenda (Earl) Simonson, thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Cassandra was preceded in death by her parents, her stepdaughter Leeann Chavez, two sisters Della Ray Childers and Patricia Ann Childers and an infant daughter. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 1st , at Three p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends from One p.m. until the time of service.
