Carrie E. Graham, 87, of Bellaire, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Kalkaska.
She was born February 9, 1929 in Central Lake to Donald and Ethelyn (Parsons) Buhland.
On July 30, 1949 she married Cameron Graham in Central Lake. They lived in East Jordan.
Carrie completed her B.A. degree at Central Michigan University. She taught elementary school for twenty years in East Jordan. She also taught in Boyne City, Alba and Bellaire. She enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children Marilyn (Woody) Horst of Barnesville, GA, Linda Graham of Kalamazoo, and Bryan (Pat) Graham of Bellaire; grandchildren Chrystal (Eric) Hurst and children Abigail and Alexander; Jennifer (Kirt) Kost and son Cole; Jolain (Scott) Lawhorne and children Logan and Lyndsey; Nathan (Laura) Graham and son Jackson; and Nicole (Jeremy Essad) Graham; sisters Dorothy Cummings of Jenison and Donna Maylowski of Levering. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cameron Graham and her brother Joseph Buhland.
Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home in Ellsworth on Friday, April 8, from 4 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Bellaire Wesleyan Church with Pastor Joseph Wright officiating. Burial will be in Dunsmore Cemetery.
