Carolyn Juracko

Carolyn A. Juracko,  80, of Central Lake, passed away on December 26, 2017 in Florida.

Carolyn was born on October 2, 1937, in Traverse City, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Dockery) Conant.

Carolyn and her husband Joe owned and operated the Central Lake Auto Clinic for over 49 years.

She had wintered in Lady Lake, Fla, since 1990, was a longtime member of St. Luke Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, sewing, and knitting.

On June 24, 1962, in East Jordan, she married Joseph Juracko Sr. who survives.  Also surviving are a son, Joe Juracko Jr. of Central Lake, a granddaughter, Amber Risteau Juracko,  a brother, Mike (Lynda) Conant of Central Lake, a sister, Sharon (Jack) Snyder of East Jordan and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an aunt Rene and a cousin Ann.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

Graveside services will be held in the spring in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township.  The date and time will be announced when scheduled.
