On Saturday June 26th 2021, Carol Sue Kine (Haag) loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 66 after a long battle with ALS.
Carol was born November 6th 1954 in Kansas City (KS) to Robert D. Haag and Germaine S. Haag (Winegarner) of Rogers City, MI. She obtained her nursing degree and worked in the medical field for most of her life. After working for a local gas station Grumpys where many knew her there.
She was a loving wife of 40 plus years to Dale W. Kine and an outstanding mother to Megan M. Kine both of traverse city. As well as a model grandmother to Mason L. Hulbert and Brooklynn P. Lossing.
Carol enjoyed music of all kinds especially getting the entire family up to dance to Santana on a bad day. She loved watching the sunset on Lake Michigan or kayaking down the river. She will be most remembered by her infectious smile, the twinkle in her eyes and her strong opinions, as well as an exceptional way to make anyone’s problems disappear. She will be greatly missed by all the people who have had the opportunity to get to know her.
She is survived by her husband Dale Kine. Daughter Megan Kine. Grandchildren Mason Hulbert and Brooklynn Lossing. Brothers Robert (Ruth) Haag and Tom (Brenda) Haag. And countless other family and friends. Proceeded in death by her parents Robert Haag and Germaine Haag, and nephew Jake Haag.
A celebration of life will be held at the family’s residence on July 24th at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to join us in remembering her.
