Carol Alspaugh

Carol L. Alspaugh, 77, of Alden passed away April 15, 2014 at her home.
She was born November 22, 1936 in Eau Clare, to Donald and Irene (Ostrum) Kendall.
On May 28, 1955 in Otsego she married Donald Alspaugh. Also surviving are Rex (Sharon) Alspaugh of Mancelona, Pam Linderleaf of Alden and Alec Alspaugh of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Donald Kendall and Richard Kendall; one sister, Pat Vickery; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was the Supervisor at Helena Township, Treasurer of the South Torch Lake Fire Department and was very involved at the Alden United Methodist Church where she and Donald attended for many years.
Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Alden United Methodist Church. The Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes is handling the arrangements. Please sign her guestbook at www.mortensenfuneralhomes.com
