With profound sadness, the family of Carl Stanley Kuczynski announces his peaceful passing on August 30, 2024, at Munson Medical Center. He was surrounded with immense love by those who adored him most
Carl was born to Aloysius and Mary Kuczynski on July 20th, 1951. His formative years unfolded in Detroit, MI. This became the canvas of his youthful endeavors and adventures shared with his brother Chris and sisters Mary Sybil and Bernadette.
He was a devoted, doting, and affectionate husband to his beloved wife, Sherry. Their love for each other has been cherished for more than 40 years, and they were married in Hawaii in 1992. Their evident love and bond is a living illustration of what marriage indeed should be and was a source of inspiration for everyone.
Carl valued his four-legged companion, Bo, as much as anything else in life. Their bond was unbreakable, and the presence of his loyal pet brought him immense joy and comfort. Whether they were going on a walk together, cuddling on the couch, or simply sharing quiet moments, their connection was beyond words.
Commencing a distinguished 50-year career as a loving caretaker for others embodied who Carl truly was. Among the people he cared for were his parents, Sherry's mother, and his niece Kendra.
Despite the challenges this career can have, he cherished every moment, knowing he was making a lasting impact.
Yet Carl's greatest joy emanated from his family and friends. His role as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle was not just a duty but a cherished privilege. His time spent with his family was always filled with love and laughter. Carl was a gentle but strong patriarch. The level of devotion he showed his family was his most admirable and honorable attribute; he lovingly nourished and can never be replicated. Carl was, in essence, a selfless man who lived his life humbly, compassionately, and graciously.
Beyond his familial bonds, Carl harbored a profound excitement for cars. One of his most cherished belongings was undoubtedly his classic Mustang. It held a special place in his heart, representing not just a car but also a symbol of his passion for classic automobiles. He also cultivated the skills of baseball and was always eager to share this talent with his loved ones. Whether it was his daughters, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews, you could always find him teaching them the ins and outs of the game. His position at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, was nothing short of a dream realized. For Carl, music was his language, his joy, his solace, and his method of connecting with the world. His musical prowess was notable, and it became his enduring legacy. The soulful melody Carl brought into this world continues to reverberate even as he is no longer with us.
Throughout his life, he demonstrated unwavering devotion and faith in Jehovah. This immense faith carried him through the joys and struggles in life and rewarded him greatly in his death.
The incredible legacy he leaves behind will live on forever in the lives he touched. Carl was undoubtedly infinitely loved and cherished. Your life was a blessing, and your memory was a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Mary Kuczynski, daughter Stephanie Taylor, and nephew Benjamin Griffith. He is survived by his wife, Sherry; daughter Shawn; son-in-law Joshua Humburd; brother, Chris Kuczynski; sisters, Sybil Sweeny, Mary Griffith, and Bernadette Senn; grandchildren Ryan and Sarah Fuller, OB and Alyssah Fearnow, Nicholas Humburd, Molly Crothers, and Madison Crothers; great-grandchildren Mason, Addison, and Juliet Fuller; niece Kendra Allen; and nephews Adam and Quinn Sweeny, Patrick, and Ben Griffith, Ethan Kuczynski, and Logan Senn.
