Brian Konefke

Brian Charles Konefke, 45, of Torch Lake Village, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at home. He was born September 11, 1962 in Detroit, the son of Glenn and Evelyn (Hepola) Konefke. After high school Brian served his country in the United States Army. On a blind date he met the love of his life, Kimberly E. Pardee. They married on June 24, 1995 in Atwood, Michigan. Brian enjoyed spending time with his kids, watching Nascar Racing, jogging, and the outdoors. He was employed by Century Sun since 1995. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kimberly, five children Wesley of Coopersville, Makayla, Brian Jr., Curtis, and Abigail all at home, his mother of Ann Arbor, two brothers Keith of Ann Arbor, and Cliff of Brighton, Mass., one sister Susan (Ken) Schauland of Appleton, WI, and many nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and three uncles. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, at Eleven a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 15 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, in Torch Lake Twp.
